Chondrex Inc mouse anti chick type ii collagen igg2a antibody subtype assay kit
GenSci120 improves disease symptoms and reduces autoantibody production in collagen-induced arthritis. Sixty C57BL/6-hPD-1 mice were immunized with type II collagen on day 0 and day 21 for arthritis induction. Body weight of test animals (A) was measured twice weekly, and disease severity was assessed by clinical score (B) three times weekly starting from day 21. Test animals were assigned into six equivalent groups ( n = 8/group) based on clinical score on day 29, i.p. administered with vehicle control or 20 mg/kg of GenSci120 or control antibody, or p.o. administered with 0.2 mg/kg of dexamethasone (dex). Shown in (A) and (B) are the mean ± SEM of body weight and clinical score, respectively, of each treatment group during the course of study. At the end of experiment (day 56), serum levels of collagen-reactive <t>IgG2a</t> autoantibodies in all test animals were determined by ELISA, and shown in (C) are individual value and mean ± SEM of autoantibody levels in each treatment group. Statistically significant improvement in clinical score and reduction of autoantibody production were observed in the GenSci120, P01 and P02 treatment groups when compared to the vehicle control group, as analyzed by one-way ANOVA (* p < 0.05, ** p < 0.01, *** p < 0.001, and **** p < 0.0001).
